Hello, my name is Alice and I’m a volunteer at the Dzūkija and Čepkaliai National Park from the 04th of March to the 04th of November 2014. I was born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In July 2013 I graduated at the BSc Rural Innovation at the HAS Hogeschool University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. I am specialized in urban and rural development and I am passionate about nature in all its forms. As part of my education I have been in South Africa for three months. My passion is to conserve, protect and increase wildlife populations (in particular large carnivores) that are threatened by habitat destruction, urban development, hunting and poaching, climate change, and so on. My goal is to fight for the protection of biodiversity throughout the world and help to find a balance between humans, wildlife and the environment. You can ask me anything you want to know about me, but I don't understand Lithuanian very well.
